Memories of James
I'll always remember James for his kind hearted nature and for being so naturally intelligent. I had the fortune of playing with him in a band and in a group at school. He was proud of his Indian heritage and had many friends. He inspired us all by achieving his life's dream of being a pilot at an amazingly young age. I'm proud to have known James and to have called him a friend. James will forever be remembered for his caring nature. He was a selfless young man, who did his utmost to help others. I met James at school and we became good friends. I have many fond memories of when we played in a band together for a number of years. James was always the one who provided encouragement and inspired us to be the best we could be, an attribute he was so synonymous with. His fantastic achievement of becoming a pilot came as no great shock to me, because if James wanted something he would go and get it. I am glad to have been one of James' friends and will cherish my memories of him. Andy Burge - Class of 2010 James and I spent a lot of our lives together. We went to Mums&Tots together, attended primary and secondary school together, learnt to fly together, and did the same course at university. I have so many great memories of James and I truly miss him. We had some hilarious, and even a few embarrassing times together (those shall remain between James and I), which I'm honored to cherish as some of the greatest times of my childhood and young adult life. I aspire to have the integrity, kindness, and joy of James. Miss you buddy Although it has now been some time since James passed away, the memory of him is still strong in my mind for the integrality of his character - decent and caring - could never be doubted. Always one to wish for the best for others, James' humble, yet fun-loving, personality came across in everything he did. I looked up at James throughout IB because he embodied a perfect balance of aspiration and modesty. We had many good times together and I only wish we'd have had the opportunity to have more. Take care buddy, thinking of you x |
